A woman is dead after her husband lost control of the motorcycle they were riding on while he was allegedly drunk driving.
The Dekalb County Coroner says 69 year old Paula Dorsen of Earlville was riding on the back of her husband, Jeffrey Dorsen’s motorcycle around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say Jeffrey lost control of the motorcycle while taking a curve on West County Line Road just south of Shabbona Grove Road in DeKalb County.
Paula was pronounced dead at the scene. Jeffrey was flown to St. Anthony Medical center in Rockford. His condition is unknown at this time.
The DeKalb County Sheriffs Office says Paula was wearing a helmet. Jeffrey has been charged with DUI.
